Diablo 4 Riddle Statues Guide

Diablo 4 open world has mysterious statues for players to find. Deciphering these statues, called “Emote Shrines” by many players, will give your characters much-needed buffs, which could potentially be a game-changer. So without further ado, here are the Riddles you will come across in Diablo 4 and the buffs they will provide after being solved.

These are the words that have been discovered so far, their respective emotes, and what buffs they provide:

GIVE AID

If you see the “GIVE AID meek powerless” message, use the Help emote to get a temporary Barrier buff. This buff will give you a barrier allowing you to tank more hits.

EMBOLDEN

If you see the “EMBOLDEN soul unrelenting evil” message, use the Cheer emote to get a temporary Emboldened Spirit buff. This buff gives you a spirit companion to help you fight against enemies.

GREET

If you see the “GREET Death open arms “message, use the Hello emote to get a temporary Shadows’ Embrace buff. This buff makes you invisible for a few seconds.

PROVOKE

If you see the “dare PROVOKE ire fate” message, use the Taunt emote to get a temporary Unstoppable buff. This buff cleanses any movement debuffs and provides immunity against them for a few seconds.

ATONE

If you see the “ATONE” message, use the Sorry emote to get some potions.

It’s important to mention that many of these statues are found everywhere. Even though they all may say different things, you’ll need to watch for the words in all caps and nothing else, such as GIVE AID or EMBOLDEN. These words are clues to what action you should do next involving your emotes.

Using emote is a pretty straightforward task. All you need to do is press the up button on the Controller or the E key on the keyboard to open up the Emote Wheel. You can then use the required emote to solve the Statue Riddles.
