Today, a friend & I was walking through Wal Mart & we came across a group of young ladies standing in aisle conversing. As we passed by the ladies and went into an aisle, one girl followed us in and started to converse with us. My friend was very intrigued by the conversation but I sort of blew it off as nothing. My friend and the girl stood there talking for a few minutes before the young ladies friends decided to join them. The lady & my friend seemed to be very interested in each other and wanted to "hook up" for the evening. I was invited to join them but I kindly explained to them that it was problem; I don't "hook up" with white girls. I tried explaining this to the women as nice & polite as I could but for some strange reason, I get called a "Racist" & a "Bigot". Is there anything wrong with me not wanting to IR date? I didn't want to make women feel bad because i'm perfect but I feel like I should have the freedom to date, "hook up", or hang out with whoever I want. Somebody talk to me.

Well, you are free to date who you want, but people take what you said as racist. It's just how it is and you have to be prepared for it when explaining that to people.

yeah, i know. i get sick of being called racist though. a man can only take so much verbal abuse before he begins to alienate himself from certain individuals. you of all people know how i am(somewhat lol) and that i am not a "bigot". some people call me closed minded but it is only my preference. i'm still a little upset behind what happened. i know what i'm gonna do, i'm gonna take out my frustrations in a BG=)
