The wind is cold as i lay in the grass thinking of you once again..
with my windchapped lips and frostbitten toes under the moon..
i wonder where you are and what youre doing because thats just who i am.
i shiver at the thought of us being apart, or is that just the chill..
either way, youre still not here, they wont let you see me right now..
its like im some kind of horrible person and their daughter deserves more
theyre right, you do deserve more, more than i am, more than i can give..
and yet, youre still here, youre still with me, why is that?
i lay there wondering under a starless night sky in mid december..
by now im turning purple and my feet are numb..
my temperature is high, and eyes are red, my hair is frozen..
i quiver at the latest breeze of the freezing air..
i continue to lay there, missing you, my tears freeze before they fall..
i close my eyes and fall asleep, my breath soars up into the sky..
im cold....
