Putting up Christmas Lights for 2006

Last year in 2005, I put up a whole bunch of Christmas lights in my room for Christmas and New Years. I put them up with black tape and each set was controlled a switch. Well, as time went on the black tape that was holding them up didn't last too long and the lights started falling down. In order to keep them up I would have to use an alternative. So I looked up on the internet to see what other people use and came up with my solution. I decided to use ½ inch staples to hold each one up. So I started with the set that was coming down the most and was paid more attention to, the ceiling lights. These lights are not on the ceiling instead they are 1 inch below the ceiling and on the wall (see picture). I ran into a bit of problem while changing out the tape. I tape that was there started peeling off the paint. So I had repainted over it. Good thing that this only happened on one wall.
